Resizing the MC Media Player
It is possible to resize the entire player. This is the same as resizing any Flash file and the same limitations apply. Specifically, there will be some distortion to the player interface, especially the text elements. You may find that some of the text becomes unreadable. This may or may not concern you — if you don't want to use the options menu then it may not be a problem at all.
The resizing method is different depending on your implementation.
playerwidth = "720";
playerheight = "360";
If you are using HTML code only...
You need to find the width and height parameters and edit them. Remember, there are two sets of parameters to edit — one in the object tag and one in the embed tag — making a total of four values to edit. The following example highlights the parameters in the 720x360 edition:
<div style="width: 720px; margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px;">
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7,0,19,0" width="720" height="360">
<param name="movie" value="mcmp720x360_player.swf">
<param name="quality" value="high">
<param name="FlashVars" value="">
<embed src="mcmp720x360_player.swf" width="720" height="360" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" FlashVars=""></embed>
